@abdelilah. Yes I think everyone received the email. But I'm not sure it will be of any help really...
Let's wait and see
I also ordered GCMS notes some weeks ago, I hope they'll come with no delay, I received an email yesterday about the progress bar, here is the content :

On December 12, 2018, you’ll see a progress bar for your Express Entry application. The progress bar shows the time elapsed since we received your application. It will give you an estimated completion date based on our latest estimated processing times.

We’ll let you know when the progress bar is available for your application.

@abdelilah. My BGC status was on "We are processing your background check" (So-called IP2) since I received AOR, and never changed. But of course, it doesn't mean anything. The BGC status is really unreliable. Because I called IRCC yesterday (Dec. 7th) after receiving my first GCMS notes, and I'm at:
-Medicals Passed
-R10 Passed
-Criminality Recommended Pass
-Eligibility Not Started
-Security Not Started

So I just meant that my "IP2" status is unreliable, as it's been there since AOR.

But from what I understand based on the information I have, applicants who have to give their biometrics move to so-called IP2 directly. I saw in my GCMS that my biometrics are being shared with USA and New Zealand for now. As if they start the background check process from day one. They don't wait until "security" stage.

PS: Thanks! Hopefully a prompt PPR for all of us!
PPS:Mine is slightly different. It's Peacekeeper87. We spoke via PM recently ;)
How do you know you are on IP2 since BGC start from day one for biometrics applications ?

PS : I like your motto (To a cold land full of warmth...), I hope it will be so for us.
PPS : what is your canadavisa forum ID (if I may ask), mine is the same as myimmitracker's one.

No problem.
Yes you can order them a few days after medicals. I ordered mine 3 weeks after medicals.
I'm happy for you. I would order mine too but after I receive medical passed message.
I will check the forum too for more info.
Thank you for your genuine answers and help

You can order down the road if you want. But it's too early for now. Expect medicals passed by next week hopefully, and that's usually when R10 check is done as well.
I ordered mine to make sure R10 was OK (check below for explanation), and what exact stage my application is.
I also called IRCC to double check. It turns out after 77 days post AOR, it's Medicals Passed, R10 Passed, Criminality Recommend Pass, Eligibility Not Started, Security Not Started.
I'm not aware of any WhatsApp to be honest, but I wouldn't join even if there was really... It would bring a bit too much confusion with everyone raising concerns and stuff. I personally just stick to the forum CanadaVisa.com
@Peacekeeper : Thank you this is very helpful, I didn't know of its existence. One more request , I would appreciate if there is a whatsapp group you can add me in, in order to exchange about PR process info for Moroccan People.

@Venustus. GCMS stands Global Case Management System, and is a platform through which IRCC manages all visa applications. Every detail on each person's case is stored on the system. SO when you apply for PR (or any other visa) for the first time, a file for you is created in the GCMS, and contains all the elements concerning your application: Name, Visa history, Notes taken by the officer, decisions made...etc. That way, when you apply for another visa or citizenship for Canada, these notes can be accessed by an officer and take a look at your immigration history, and make appropriate decisions. Thankfully, with Canadan privacy laws, you have the right to access those notes and see what's going on with an application you have, and see what the agents and officers have done on your case. That's what people mean with "ordering GCMS notes". Hope this helps. Cheers
Sorry , what does it mean GCMS ?
