It seems they are clearing the backlog cases from April, May, and June these days. I actually got a ghost update yesterday and a request to pay the RPRF today (Feb 20, 2020), so I might get the PPR soon.
What might have triggered a move in my case is that I raised a CSE webform 2 days ago inquiring about the status of my application. I specifically asked about the status of each stage and the VO too.
Vu que votre cas a déjà depassé les 6 mois, vous avez le droit de le faire aussi et ça peut donner un coup de pouce a votre dossier.

Bonjour, je viens de commander mes notes GCMS il y a deux jours. Je pense que la raison pour laquelle mon dossier prend plus de temps que la normal est le fait que j'ai vécu aux états-unis pendant 5 ans. De ce que j'ai pu voir sur différent forums, il semble que les gens ayant vécu aux U.S on également un délais de traitement de leur demande. J'imagine que le background check et plus long à effectuer.
