I got the invitation today. Bit surprised.

No Mate. I don't think we will get for November also based on below stats. There were 209 main applicants waiting for ceremony as of 29th July. Let us say we have one child on an average in that 209 which means 418 total waiting for ceremony. They invited 75 in Aug,  93 in September and letvus say 75 in October and November which accounts to 418 . Going by this numbers , we all may expect an invite for 26th Jan if they plan to do one similar to this year assuming my calculation is correct although I wish all of us to get an invite for November

Hi Srinivas- Did u get the ceremony invite? We are just 2 weeks away from ceremony and the chances looks bleak? I don’t think we will get invite. My approval date is 27/08/2022

Yes bro..fingers crossed let’s hope for the best..I doubt I can make to the final list as my approval date is 27th of August but I’m confident for November month.

Thanks for the info. You will get an invitation by this weekend if you are in the list as DHA is sending the invites three weeks prior to ceremony date. Hope for the best.

Strathfield council is planning to invite another 80 applicants for next month ceremony and the list is not yet finalised..The lady asked me to touch base with her next week so that she can contact DHA and get the final list of applicants for the next ceremony

Hi Guys, A quick update..I spoke with council today..They said that DHA is clearing the ceremony backlog of May, June and July..As on last ceremony i.e on 17th September 2022 there were 201 applicants waiting for ceremony and DHA invited 101 applicants and only 93 attended the ceremony. And also, If the main applicant has kids then they are counted individually. So, the invitation of say 100 or 80 slots excludes kids..So we are here for a long wait..

Have you called the council ?
