They contacted due to the issue with my wife's middle name. It's a common problem for Vietnamese when the middle name has been mixed up as first name in all previous visas. Now my wife asked the interview officer to change her name to the correct way with first name first, not middle name first. Immigration now requested "confirmation of the preferred name and evidence of any name changes from birth". However, my wife did not change her name, it is the order of the name's part that has been screwed up, and the name on the visa is different (in order) from driver licence and all other ID documents.

I attached a letter explaining the situation and did not provide any evidence of name changes, because there is no name changes.
