Once the application is approved, you will receive a generic approval letter and it state that only Ceremony is left and that is dependent on Council. So there is no need to contact Department for that. 
 
As Virtual Ceremonies are not happening at-least for this year, you can only wait for face-2-face ceremonies.

Cool thanks for replying here bro. Yeah the CO did not ask anything on my application so hopefully it would be soon that my app is finalised.  
 
Btw did they intimate the next steps to you in regards to the ceremony now? or just general that it would be scheduled in due ?

There wont't be any approval email which you will get. It will be just status change on your immi account application. and after a week or so, you will get a letter of approval in your mail (physical copy). 
 
Wait for your approval, chances are if CO didn't ask anything on your application then it will be routine federal or background checks that will be done. Like Traffic offence etc etc.

Hi Dhruv congrats on getting the approval, I had my appt/interview on the same date as you but in the sydney cbd centre. Waiting on the approval now, i see you hve been approved - did you just confirm with your immiaccount was there any other approval email?

Communication will come through E-mail. 
Also if you check you immi account, it will be there as well.

No Update, just changed the council. I m hoping that the Interview appointment should come in 4 weeks
