Other forums seem to agree with facts mentioned in above thread...
Background Check IP1 wording: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
Background Check IP2 wording: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Using the above, I figured out that my application is in IP2 stage (most CEC Inland applicants or applicants with Canadian history seem to go to IP2 directly). However, I have no clue if eligibility, security and background checks have completed or not.
