July 01: An email was received to give you access to a special website to generate the COPR. Is not the regular portal.

July 02: Access to the Confirmation of Permanente residence website was granted.
The CEC aplicant that is currently in Canada will receive an eCoPR through this special portal.

Where candidates will upload their pictures and confirm that they are living in Canada. This portal is not available for people outside Canada. Meaning that they will have to do the hard landing.

Two ghost updates had occurred in the last 10 days, however, I didn't receive any emails. I noticed those because I'm obsessed with login into my account at least once a day, if not a couple.

1st ghost update:
June 16 (Application/Profile update) but no real or visible information appears.

2nd ghost update:
June 25th (Application/Profile update) but no real or visible information appears.

That's all

As an additional follow up to my case
After the last call, I made to IRCC...

On May 3, I received an email from IRCC that request I should upload my case and that if I didn't do that my case could be delayed or else. Non-sense, because Mexicans don't ever see the PC letter nor can request it from anyone else back in Mexico if you are living in Canada (Legally) - There is another way that some applicants do, via the consulates in Canada, but, I don't see that option in the IRCC official website, is a fast but "shady" way in my opinion.

Going back to the issue, I called IRCC and mentioned this letter/request from them and after 10 minutes of waiting they mentioned that it was required to do request to change that "new document", THis internal review was from the call center to the processing office (They admit they did a mistake) - I shouldn't have received any letter requesting PC letter.

I waited until Friday, May 28 to call again, just to double-check, and they say is still running and yes they submitted it to the processing office, nothing else.

To serve as a follow up for the Mexican PC:

- AOR was received on October 12, ADR: IRCC letter to FGR November 25
- Submitted to the Canadian embassy in Mexico on Nov 26, all the package.
- Drop at the security booth on November 27 afternoon (By FedEx overnight)
- Wrote to know the status of the PC to the Canadian embassy in Mexico, on Dec 30. They reply on Jan 16 asking for my case number (Was included in the 1st email btw) I replied 2 min later with the number, again.
- They reply on Jan 25 with the following:
Please be informed that your documents were received in our offices, they will be reviewed as soon as possible and if everything is correct they will be sent to Mexican authorities shortly.  Processing time for a federal police certificate from Mexico takes from 75-90 business days.  Results will be sent directly to the IRCC office processing your application.

So, I assumed they were not picked/review to that point? Oh lord.

Wait for months, until I called IRCC on April 23, and they said that they just received those from the Mexican Embassy in Mexico City, the morning of that day, what a coincidence.

That's it for now.
