Hi StragePaths, Many Congratulations on your PR. Can you please let us know what is the COPR expiry data given to you? I am trying to access how much time IRCC is giving people to travel? Thanks in advance!

Is there any official correspondence from IRRC that medical will be extended for 6 months or a year?

@Rajbhatia2513 my medical got extended. I have had to submit passport. They are extending medicals for everyone, 6 months for people from designated countries and one year for people from non designated countries.

Congrats on your CoPR! Did you have to redo your medicals or did they give you an extension on that? Also, did you have to submit your passport for Visa stamping or is the CoPR sufficient to do the first landing?

There is no detail of travel restrictions, they just said that visa will expire along with medicals. They already gave me visa expiry date in PPR, asking me to try to travel before then.  
 
I think if they have started issuing PPRs, that means they will be doing something about travel restrictions for new immigrants as well. At least that is the hope.

I requested for reconsideration with new documents but they refused. Anyway, I ended up having to apply for a second time, contributing some more application fees lol
