I have the same situation like you.
My spouse is in India.

Everything has passed on the file.
They are reviewing our medical for extension.

Congratulations!
On you progress of application towards Visa process.
It is IMPORTANT to mention here that upon you arrival (hard landing or soft landing) you need an address to declare on port of entry at any airport in Canada. If you are arriving in Greater Toronto area it would be advisable to get a SAFE and PERMENANT mailing address. Mail theft and identity theft is very common in Canada and all your PR Cards, banking documents and Driving license and credit cards are sent via regular mail in Canada. Also it is important to keep a good history with Banks and credit companies to keep you mailing address same for a long time it show reliability and stability.
For Engineers to apply for Profession Engineers Ontario you also need an address to get on you game before you land as an Engineer in Canada. That also demands a mailing address.
You can get street address* (important for showing house address) by renting a UPS mail box Suit even before you land in Canada. All you need is a scan of your passport and a valid credit card to pay. And that’s it you are set.
Please visit our web site www.theupsstore.ca/348  email us at store348@theupsstore.ca
the rates are available in 6 months format, although we recommend at least 1 year term until you get more permanent residence and it looks good on your credit profile and ratings.
For 6 Months $33 CAD per month
For 12 months $21 CAD per month
REMEMBER it’s not an option it’s mandatory to have an address when you land in CANADA.
