Thanks for the update Ali jan. Actually I'm going to Beirut tomorrow, by Mahan air. That's in case my PCR test result comes back negative. :) As far as I know, the next Mahan flight to beirut is scheduled for next two weeks.

Called IRCC, eligibility is passed, criminality is in progress, security yet to be started. Guess it might be also the case about your application. 
Criminality probably would not be passed unless biometric is submitted. Check Beirut flights as an alternative destination!

Thanks for the info Ali jan. I contacted the UAE embassy in Iran and it seems that UAE tourist visas won't be issued until further notice. Flights to Istanbul are active now, but you need to purchase a ticket to Doha and then another one to Istanbul. You should also purchase your flights back home. 
Unfortunately, I couldn't book an appointment in Istanbul, but I booked one in Erbil. Hope they open the borders asap.

No!  Not ordered yet! I was wondering if ordering one could sort of push the application forward or at least to find out if there is any problem in terms of eligibility or something! 4 months after AOR in the normal situation might be a good time to order GCMS but considering the pandemic, IRCC is mainly focused on CEC and PNP applications. FSW's are not being proceeded as well as others. 
 
Based on what I heard last week, flights to Dubai are gonna be resumed this week (They require a valid PCR test prior to flight) Turkey's VACs have started their services with limitation (only Wednesdays and Fridays). Still no flight to Istanbul or Ankara! Heard some good news that flights are supposed to be started again as of August 1st thought. But not sure to what extent we can rely on that. The whole condition is an ambiguity!! I just set an appointment at Istanbul's VAC (August 14th) hoping flights will be resumed soon! To avoid the risk of missing all the available appointment times! (August appointments are being rapidly occupied).

by the way.. any update about how/where to submit biometrics from Iran?
