Thank you @theprettyreckless for your advice. My COE should be ok as I used a template from an immigration agent (my sister paid an agent few years ago, but didn't proceed), and my bank statement shows my monthly salary payment. However, I didn't highlight those lines. 
Just waiting now and hoping for the best outcome.

Glad to hear you already got another ITA! Prepare thoroughly and provide more than just the minimum required. Praying for you!

@raffah, I hope your “certificate of employment” contains everything required by IRCC for what IRCC calls a reference letter (job description that matches selected NOC, work hours, salary, period of employment etc.) Check to make sure that it does. If it doesn’t, then get a reference letter that meets IRCC standards. If you didn’t initially send your bank statements showing salary payment and doing that will put your mind at ease, then go for it!

@hope2come @winterbird @raffah, after the refusal, I applied for a reconsideration and provided my bank statements showing salary payments but my reconsideration was refused with the reason that when I applied initially, sufficient evidence was not provided (my reference letter was initially the only document I provided as it was the only mandatory document requested by IRCC on their website and it contained everything IRCC requested it should contain.) I guess this happens from time to time where they don’t even ask for ADR and just outrightly refuse the application. I got in the pool same day I was rejected and got another ITA shortly after. I’m preparing to submit my new application with tax docs, payslips and bank statements highlighting salary payments.

I'm so sorry. You can see the other candidate who got her PPR so fast after a first refused application for the same reason as yours. So, don't worry, you can apply again and you will get it. Your score is good enough. 
 
I have a question please: did you send a bank statement showing your salary payment? 
I'm very worried as I also only sent a certificate of employment, but my bank statement shows my salary every month. My VO is Montreal, though.

I'm so sorry to hear that! Try to appeal and get back into pool as @hope2come said. But they surely could have asked for ADR if they wanted more evidence.

This is messed up. So sorry. Hope you appeal the decision and add more evidence. In the meantime, try and get back into the pool. There's most likely going to be another french draw soon
