I can only speak for my experience. I withdrew because I'd called IRCC and asked the agents whether my file was set for review, and if so, what was the exact date. I did not receive any specific answers to that question, and this made me believe that there was no realistic timeline that I could expect for my application's closure. That is why I went ahead and withdrew.

I have also applied for PR through express entry, AOR 20 Aug 2018, but no update on my application, it has review required because of my work experience, I am also thinking to withdraw the application and reapply because I am now clearing the Review Required as I have the new work experience as this process has no timeline if the application is under review required..........

Hey sorry for the late response. I haven't been able to directly call CIC from my phone (I live in the US). Instead, I ask a friend of mine to initiate a conference call between me and IRCC whenever I need to get in touch with them
