Noted.However, the agent told mentioned security and bg check separately, so i assume both are different.But yea, its the eligibility that matters.So lets wait and watch.

Yes, criminality and info sharing are all part of background check. It's in progress for me too. Eligibility is the main thing, and that hasn't started yet :(

Hi, sorry for responding 3 months later, hah. I learned that my visa office is Singapore when I submitted biometrics.

@ysiraj786, no update whatsoever. But it's not just us, there are still plenty of Jan, Feb and March AORs still waiting for updates. So at least I know I'm not the only one.

Hi Djgrdr,

Any updates further with regards to BG Check and eligibility ? Did you get any ghost updates ?
It's soo weired that our files are still not touched whereas soo many applicants with recent AOR's have got PPR !

@viper_r, I used Hangouts Dialler to call them (+1 613 944 4000). It's free. You won't always be able to speak with an agent if the wait time is long, but if you're lucky, you'll get through with a wait time of anywhere between 10 to 30 mins. Don't worry if the automated IVR can't locate your application - it's faulty. You should speak with an agent.
