It was a fairly large event with around 800 people getting their citizenships on the day, so I don't think they had capacity to hand over the certificates to everyone. Hopefully, your ceremony in the ACT would be much more laidback, so they could award the certificates in person.

Oh no, I'm really hoping they provide us with the certificate during the ceremony as I need to submit it on the day day to be able to commence a job next day x_x I am worried about that. Did they explain why they didn't hand out the certificates on the day?
Ana Australiaabout 3 yearsThanks Ana. Certificates will be mailed to us in the next few days as we only did the oath in the ceremony. We received some Aussie merch and a plant from the council though. Congrats on your ceremony too!
