My application status stayed the same until I was contacted by CO

I could not obtain any document from my spouse's functional English. I have uploaded her degree certificates but I am prepared to pay this so called second installment. I have a question on application status. My application status from the lodgment date (March 3) is the same i.e. "Application Status = Received." I read during my google research recently that application status normally changes from "received" to new level such as 'assessment in progress' or 'co contact' etc. Nothing has happened in my case. It is showing the same (Received) from day one. Would you please write across on your case? Did you noticed any change in application status prior to Co contact? if you noticed the change prior to Co contact, how many days prior to co contact the status had changed. Appreciate feedback!

It's best to give evidence of functional English. I was aware of this but with a different namw "second installment". You cannot give functional English evidence for your dependents? It is not that difficult. All the best mate.

Congrats Tehseen for CO contact. With regards to my previous query to you on VAC2 payment, it is applicable when an applicant cannot produce English proficiency letter from university which is my case (not applicable to you). Yours is lodgment date is Feb 25 (mine is March 3) so CO contact for my case should be on its way very soon. Thank you for updating your case. I did not apply through any agent and hence I learned about VAC2 through google. I have to pay VAC2 payment for my spouse in lieu of competent English which is only possible once CO contacts with invoice link.

CO asked for PCC for my wife from all the residing cities I mentioned on form80. Also for her functional English I only submitted English proficiency letter from her university but CO asked for degree and detailed marks certificate of degree course which was already provided in education section of application.
