Hey there, it would had been better if you'd lodge your application thru a registered MARA agent as they know all the regulations and are experts in these cases. The processing time has now been increased to 15-20 months for the 309 visa. Average processing time is 12 months for the same. I am from Hyderabad and you???

oh i see, that's why.. im not sure if mine is complex.. its my first marriage but hubby's second but htey didnot have any kids neither did they sponsor each other.. and its been 6 months hvnt heard any thing from them .. i did my case myself.. which city u r from??

Mine is a complex case of second marriage and both have kids.  That's a probable reason its been taking so long. As per my agent only first marriage cases are granted a visa early, complex cases like mine will take take time.  Its been almost nine months since visa lodgment & not a word from the dept.  What about you???
