no, it's only 2 of us. When I submitted EE profile I did not put the child, as he is not a dependent as the custody is on the mother (ex wife). The child is not a dependent and does not live in the same country. The child lives abroad with his mother and the mother does not keep in touch.

@tan4- did you mention dependent child name in your profile before getting ITA? Child is in full custody with his ex-wife. But they asked even if he is not accompanying us we need to mention his name in our profile before getting ITA.

We will appeal once and meanwhile also create new profile.

@Mickey_1991 - we will need child medical even if he is not accompanying us?

I am really sorry to hear this....We too have a similar situation but we even went to give bio-metrics about 09 days ago...i think you can appeal for this....its not fair if they just refused without asking you for additional information or  documents, maybe you have some way to prove the child has full custody with the mother? let us know and hope this wouldnt go down without a fair fight...good luck!!!!

OMG so sorry... How can the child be a dependent if he/she lives with the ex-wife? Does your husband have joint custody or the ex wife has full custody?

As far as I know. You need to mention all the details even if that family member is not coming with you. If you would not have any issue in showing the proof of funds according to the additional family member number then you should mention it.

If your points are going to decrease then you should apply immediately and can submit the PCC letter which is not older than 3 months. If IRCC asks for a new PCC you can arrange for one then (or can arrange for one in the mean time)

As per my knowledge. If you have mentioned your husband's son name means according to visa officer, he is also moving to Canada with your family. If he is not moving with you then no need to mention or if you are mentioning then his medical and other documents will be requested. And for PCC I suggest issue new one. I would suggest consult any good Canada authorised immigration lawyer.

I need your help. My profile got rejected after 42 days for incompleteness. My medicals were also passed. 

They mentioned reason of incompleteness that we have not included my husband's child name(from his first marriage) in our profile as dependent child.I being main applicant have not mentioned my husband's son name in our application as his child lives with his first wife. We have just mentioned his son name in my husband's family members details during submitting documents after ITA.

According to them a dependent child name should be included in application whether is of a person or person's spouse or even biological child.

what are the chances if we appeal to them saying child does not live with us and not dependent on us? 
How and what details we need to mention while creating new profile to avoid this problem again?

B) My Dubai PCC is valid for next 1 month and waiting for next ITA (our CRS Score is 452) and submitting all documents will take 15 days. so can I submit this PCC which will be valid for 15 days at the time of submission of new profile and is not more than 3 months old? or I have to get new PCC? (currently I am not residing in Dubai)

Please suggest or help me with this.
