@knizmv thank you so much for replying. In my case UPS delivered my package with my photos and fingerprints on Apr. 5th. It’s very good news in your case took a little more than two months the whole process involving the FGR and the embassy. I’ve been reading in some forums that for other people have taken way more than that and that’s the reason why I asked you. Thank you again

Hello @rlilaortiz1, it's not fully clear, however, the tracker had an update that said they received the police certificate sent by me, which I initially thought was when they started processing the documents I sent, although it was like two months after Feb 12th, but a couple of days later the tracker showed that I've passed the background check so I guess the update meant that they received the police certificate from FGR.

Hi @knizmv. In your case from feb 12th that your documents were received at the embassy to recently these days, do they finish the whole process for the Mexican police certificate when you say the passed the background check ?

Thank you

Hey @bobby92, I got the letter for the Mexico PCC on Feb 8th and sent them via Fedex, delivered on the 12th. I takes a really long time, between 2 and 3 months, for an update in that regard. I just recently got confirmation that they received them and passed the background check.

Hey @alokpatel007, biometrics were enrolled on February 23rd. Since I'm from Mexico, the police certificates for the applicants take a long time so that makes the biometrics enrolment not important in terms of time.

Hello. I have a question for Mexico PCC. Did the embassy of Canada sent your PCC to IRCC. I am a non Mexican citizen, but I stayed in Mexico for almost an year in the past. I send the documents required to embassy of Canada. But they are not replying to any of my emails.

Yes to the question you asked me in my profile. By the way, you got your new update late for the Background Check, is it because of the 3 applicants or your biometrics appointment late?

Thanks for the information. I have tried enrolling in the IRCC tracker, but I can see no progress in each section. Nothing is updated yet! Let me wait for few days, if not then I will call IRCC.

I've been following cases that are similar in AOR dates as mine and noticed that most are getting their BIL around 3 months after their AoR (including mine). An email asking for payment for biometrics should have been triggered 1 or 2 weeks after submitting your application, if you paid and sent the receipt promptly, you should get your BIL in the next few days. If your UCI is now the same as previous applications, you could try enrolling on the Application Status Tracker https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login and have a little more info on how your application is going.
