Yes, I ordered GCMS notes (and waited for so long, from March to June), but honestly, they were useless for me. There wasn't any additional information, the reason for the rejection was the same as in the letter from the officer, nothing new.

Thank you so much for your detailed response! I’m very grateful!!! I will ensure to provide as much evidence as I can for my new application. Another thing, did you order GCMS notes to get more insight about the initial refusal? Interestingly my previous Visa office also Ottawa

to theprettyreckless: Hello! I’m really sorry to hear that your application was rejected. I know this is stressful and disappointing, but don’t give up! Keep trying, you can do it!
For my second application, I uploaded all the work documents I had. This included my bank statement, which showed that my company paid me a salary every month, my tax statement, which showed that I paid taxes every month. Since I’m an expat living and working in China, I also included extra documents like my work permits, which I renewed every year.
In the Work Experience section, I uploaded: 1. My previous reference letter from my manager, 2. The bank statement, 3. The tax statement, 4. A new reference letter (since my manager no longer worked there, I asked the accountant to write a new reference to provide more proof that I worked at that company).
In the Letter of Explanation, I uploaded all my work permits and wrote something like: “The fact that I have worked in this company can be confirmed by several establishments. If you have any questions, please make an additional document request."
My previous office was in Ottawa. I had to do my biometrics again after the second AOR. I only did one medical exam, and I was lucky that they accepted the medical results the second time.
For your next application, any document that has your name and your company’s name is good to upload. I know that sometimes people provide work contracts, screenshots of incorporate emails with HR or managers. If you are not sure which documents will suit you, I recommend to ask an immigration consultant.
I wish you the best of luck from the bottom of my heart and hope that everything will be alright!

Hello, congrats on your PPR! I traced that your previous application was refused for not having submitted enough evidence even though this was included in your reference letter which was the only mandatory document. I was rejected the exact same way without so much as an ADR. I have a few questions. What additional documents did you submit in your new application? You had already done your biometrics in your previous application so did you have to do another biometrics in your new application? Also what was your previous visa office? I’m curious to know whether it’s the same as mine. I would reeeeally appreciate a response. I’m also for French Proficiency Category Based draw.

to raffah: Yes, I was surprised how fast it was. Hope, you will get your PPR soon!

Hello, Probably, because there is around 12 hours time difference between Canada and China. So, 15/06 in China may still be 14/06 in Canada.

That was really "express". My country of residence is also China and I thought it was the reason for the delay: 99 days from AOR, still no PPR. But apparently, nope. Happy for you :)
