Question:

If my I140 is approved and I leave the country and come back in few years, can I use my my I140 expecting that my current employer has withdrawn the application?

Answer:

If the employer withdrew your application means no employer is sponsoring you henc, it is no longer valid and you cannot obtain a green card through it. You would however be able to retain the priority date for a future I-140 petition.
