Hi Kranthi,

Thank you for your prompt response!
My wife completed her masters, so we attached the transcripts on last CO contact (in that it clearly says medium of instruction was English). Even we thought to take PTE to move forward in simple way, but my consultant advised since the CO is asking for VAC2 payment or additional proof document to prove medium of instruction. So, its not advisable to revert to PTE test at this stage. However, we responded if further proof required we are ready to take English test.
But response is taking more time than anticipated. Let me hope for the best with finger crossed.

Thanks again for your valued inputs, appreciated!

Regards,
Yogi

Hey Yogi,

My wife's medium of instruction was also in English, she was half way through her Masters here in Australia but the Case Officer said she had to graduate for the Masters to be considered as an exception for functional English criterion.

So we got her to quickly take PTE as the dates are easy to find and the result comes in couple of days. I am not suggesting that your spouse / partner should take PTE, but I personally think it is an easier and cheaper method and getting 5 bands usually is easy for people from an English medium background :)

In terms of the processing time, Zeldaking suggested I do it as it is way past the processing time - but if I were you, I would do it on the 16th of September (as it is only 4 days away :) )

In terms of the complaint I lodged, I wrote in a polite manner - asking if there is anything else I could provide to help the process (as there was some confusion with my case)

All the best :)

Regards,
Kranthi

Hi Kranthi,

Thanks for your input, yes I have attached the medium of instruction letter from the college and degree certificates earlier. On last CO contact (29 May) they have asked for VAC2 payment or more supporting documents. So,I added transcripts along with the earlier documents and re-uploaded the earlier documents for more clarity.

Yes, the processing time is nearing to 9 months now. Should I escalate it or not, What's your opinion on this.

Kind Regards,
Yogi

Hi Yogi,

Have you attached the medium of instruction certificate to your case ??

Is your case past the global processing time frame (as advised by zeldaking, I have lodged a complaint because my case was pending from OCT 2018 and was past the global processing time frame and they kept asking the same documents multiple times)?

Down below you can find zeldaking's profile, open the case and you will find the process to escalate - I have followed the same :)

Goodluck!

Cheers,
Kranthi

Hi Kranthi,

Congratulations! on your PR grant, I saw few conversation of yours in which you have highlighted to the authorities regarding delay in the PR grant process. Can you please share the link or email to whom you have highlighted. Because even I am facing same issues, CO contacted twice asking for spouse English competency even though the required degree certificates are attached. last CO contact was on 29th May 2019 after that no response from them, though the documents are re uploaded immediately. So if can share where to escalate, it will be helpful.

Thanks,

Hi Seyed,

You have lodged your EOI but did you get an invitation ?

If you got invited only then you should be worried about CO contact / grant.

Also I am unsure what is the algorithm that does the analysis / gives the tentative date in MyImmitracker

Cheers,
K

Hi Kranthi,

Congratulations, first of all. I have 75 points for 189 and lodged EOI on 20.05.2019 for ANZSCO code 261311.
I have a small question if you don't mind and if you know you can clarify me please. In MyImmiTracker, while creating cases, they don't ask for points (70, 75 or 80). In that case, how do they estimate our CO contact date or grant date?

Seyed.
