I'll share my story so it may be helpful for you and others who will read. After April 2019. So I tried calling a couple of Australian Home Affairs numbers to ask the status and but there was no reply from them. And also the estimated time appears in my Immi account was also over. So I tried logging complaint and it came within 1 week. 
I followed conversation from the following links to lodging the complaint.

I ask because my wife's assessment is not considered as her skill is not on the required list...so she has not attempted the PTE.... 
For her English assessment we were asked to suit a letter from the college to indicate that the entire course was done in English
